Miss Russia 2010

Yekaterinburg gets the title «Ms. Russia-2010»
Irina Antonenko from the Urals city of Yekaterinburg was crowned Miss Russia 2010.
Along with the title and the crown Antonenko received a cash prize of $100,000 and the right to represent Russia in the forthcoming competition «Miss World».
The title of first vice-miss went to Irina Sharipova, representing Russia`s Volga Republic of Tatarstan. Olga Kononenko of another Urals city, Chelyabinsk, was named second vice-miss. Both of them got also a chance to study in any University of the word they like.
After the fist part of competition — the deflation in bathing suits — the best 15 participants were chosen. Wearing the luxurious dresses from the young designers — was the second part of the competition. Besides the fashion parade in evening dresses as a tradition from Valentin Yudashkin was also arranged. The final test of competition was an intellectual part: the jury asked a question to every girl-participant and estimated the sense of humor and knowledge of future «Miss Russia».
